it can be "rebranded" by tracphone to be usable with there divisions: straight talk, total, or simple mobile, by a call to their tech dept. i have switched a number of them to net 10 bought as a tracphone piece. net 10 is on the way out so i asked for the unlocking code and now mine can move to other carriers in the unlocked state

I know my wife likes he flip phones but these phones are in my opinion not that user friendly. However, happy wife and happy life.

The phone itself is great for my mother but again Amazon took forever shipping it did not leave it at the front door forcing me disabled to walk 300 ft once again to the mailbox in severe pain takes me a half hour just to make that walk and they have the option that says leave that front door they never once have don't do business with these people they're shady well unless you're white you're okay

Kind of pricey, but where are you going to find another really good flip phone today? I have Tracfone, so this seemed like a good choice. It was. Battery life is very good and phone seems to be well made. Screen is large and pretty easy to read. Best of all it does not use Kai (the Chinese data mining, er uh operating system). The only problem I had was finding the call log (press downward on the multi-directional key). Overall I'm very pleased with both phone and seller.
